A Journey to Wellness
Growing up, no one taught me how the products we use and the foods we eat impact our overall health. I faced several health challenges early in life. As a teenager, I was diagnosed with benign breast tumors and prescribed birth control to regulate my cycles. Over the years, I struggled with acne, cramps, unwanted hair, and recurring breast cysts—birth control was always the recommended solution. But after years of dependency, I made the decision to detox my body and pursue a healthier lifestyle.
A Life-Altering Health Crisis
Everything changed after I was prescribed a 7-day course of the antibiotic Ciprofloxacin. I developed Bullous Pemphigoid and Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, which caused severe reactions—open blisters oozing blood and pus, and swollen limbs that left me unable to walk. Dismissed by multiple doctors, I finally found a hospital that took my condition seriously. My health spiraled into hospitalization and disability, forcing me to reevaluate everything I put in and on my body.
A Path to Healing
Determined to heal, I eliminated pharmaceuticals, commercial hygiene products, and makeup. I switched to organic, non-GMO foods, visited farmers markets for natural produce, and incorporated saunas, detoxes, and natural skincare products into my routine to remove toxic chemicals from my life. Over time, my skin healed, my energy levels improved, and my confidence was restored.
Turning Pain Into Purpose
What once felt like a curse became a blessing. My body's reaction to Ciprofloxacin forced me to make a conscious, life-changing decision—to reclaim my health naturally. Despite doctors predicting permanent scars and lifelong steroid use, I reversed the adverse effects and restored my well-being.
Today, as a 38-year-old Creole wife and mother of three, I create skincare products for my family and others, using organic, paraben-free, PFAS-free, phthalate-free, and sulfate-free ingredients. What started as a personal mission has now grown into a brand dedicated to helping others nourish their skin naturally.
